Dedicated to Fostering Team Culture
Background
heylime is a platform designed to foster Team Culture for both remote, hybrid, and in-office teams. There are a wide number of tools designed to help teams communicate and be more productive, however there are virtually no tools dedicated to bringing teams together. Businesses often makeshift solutions with general tools or cobble something together with various specific tools. heylime decided to step up a provide a complete platform to help teams bond, have fun, and grow together.
The team created their initial offering during the start of the 2020 pandemic to provide a way to connect remotely. The first product centered around ways to participate in activities on video calls similar games like Cards Against Humanity and Uno. As our teams worked together, we saw the need to focus on leveraging and expanding this platform to particularly address team culture. Since then, we have collaborated to create a comprehensive solution to enter an untapped market and help teams’ culture thrive.
Process
Our team helped guide the ideation and design of heylime’s new platform. We lead numerous design iteration and feedback sessions to slowly build a complete feature set. Together, we established the core architecture, content, and style of the platform. A major focus in this process was addressing the needs of owners and managers, while providing a genuinely fun useful tool for the rest of the team. In the end, we produced a modern platform that offers a cohesive web and mobile app experience.
