The Platform for FedEx Linehaul Business Owners.
Background
We partnered with a private equity group who had an existing portfolio of FedEx linehaul businesses. FedEx linehaul businesses allows individuals to buy specific reoccurring freight routes from FedEx. Owners have guaranteed business from FedEx, but must handle all of the routes vehicles, drivers, and similar logistics.
The management team we partnered with had existing analytics and integrations to mange their portfolio of Linehaul businesses. Together, we set out to incorporate their legacy infrastructure into a consumer-facing platform to completely manage all aspects of Linehaul businesses. Ultimately, building an unparalleled platform to dominate the market.
Process
This project began from scratch, with no existing brand, business, or team. We started by researching and talking to stakeholders to understand the market and its users better. Then, we documented how these business owners and their staff work and turned it into customer journeys. Our team combined all this information to create the core sections and features of the platform. We also established a brand and style to fit. Through this process, we were able to confidently create a cohesive experience helping managers improve and run their business, as well as deliver a better tool for drivers and staff in the field.
