Build Travel
Background
Our team led product design and management for a luxury travel planning platform aimed at high-end travel agencies and concierge services. These professionals often juggle multiple disconnected tools when planning, booking, and managing client travel. Our mission was to create a single polished solution that elevated both their efficiency and the client experience.
We partnered with an early-stage team that had deep industry connections but lacked a cohesive product. Through initial discovery and close collaboration, we aligned on a vision: to build a premium, intuitive travel platform that seamlessly integrates itinerary creation, hotel booking, and client communication.
Process
We started by researching the day-to-day workflows of top-tier travel agents and defining a product roadmap based on their key needs. I contributed wireframes and early product flows to help shape the vision and collaborated closely with the team’s UI designer to expand and evolve the design system.
Throughout development, I managed the product delivery process—writing tickets, working directly with developers, and ensuring the work met our standards through hands-on QA. Regular iteration with real user input helped shape a tool tailored to the luxury travel space.
