Construction Management Platform
Background
Foresite is a construction management software. Its primary offering provides a consolidated platform for all the businesses, contractors, and services involved on a jobsite. The goal is to give all parties an integrated way to manage their projects, coordinate tasks, and ensure quality. Construction has one of the lowest technology adoption rates out of any industry, often relying on disconnected tools that serve only specific purposes. That’s why Foresite decided to seize the opportunity to deliver a comprehensive, connected, and value-focused solution.
Our team was approached by leaders of a national construction quality assurance company. After building an initial prototype and numerous conversations with investors, the team decided to fund and establish Foresite. We began with Foresite at the ground-floor. Owning the product design and helping achieve the team’s ambitious goals of quickly launching and on-boarding national home builders and construction service companies.
Process
We began by building initial models of the platform to provide development and business with direction. During this process we established the main features, sections, and core design system of Foresite. From here, we had a complete system to begin tackling the construction industries complex workflows. Through research and collaboration with subject matter experts we were able to address and construct solutions for our target market. The end result is a web application and mobile app built to integrate with and improve construction teams daily work.
